Hisar: Police have booked two men for allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl. The case was registered at the women’s police station here following a complaint from the mother of the rape survivor. The two were charged under sections 354 (outrageous modesty), 376(2)N (repeated rape), 376(3) (rape of person below 16 years of age), 34 (common intention) and more of the IPC and the Pocso Act. The complainant claimed that her daughter told her 15 days ago that she had not had a period since February. The girl told her that a youth from the neighborhood broke into her house in September 2023, when no one was home, and raped her. In December 2023, the defendant was accompanied by a friend who also raped her, and then they did it again in February.
