Four injured in accident in Polk County on Saturday

Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Polk County on Saturday.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2009 Volkswagen Rabbit was traveling east on 120th Street Northwest when it collided with a northbound 2012 Chevrolet Impala on Highway 75 in Euclid Township.

The driver of the Impala, Duane Allen Olson, 84, of Thief River Falls, and three passengers were taken to Riverview Hospital and treated for injuries that police said were not life-threatening. The driver of the Rabbit, Jasmine Leigh Moffett, 26, of Saint Hilaire, suffered no visible injuries.

At the time of the accident, which was reported shortly before 11 a.m., everyone was wearing seat belts.
