Man found dead after flooding in Allen Co

ALLEN COUNTY, Ky. – A man was found dead after flooding in Allen County early Thursday morning.

WNKY reports that the Allen County Sheriff’s Office and other emergency responders responded to the 100 block of Blankenship Road for a report of an overturned vehicle in the water.

When officers arrived at the scene, they were unable to locate anyone in the vehicle, but did spot a man approximately 40 meters away from the vehicle.

The man, identified as 56-year-old Clarence Novosel, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Allen County Coroner.

This is an ongoing investigation.
