Roseburg Police Jail Man for Alleged Threatening Incident – ​​KQEN News Radio

Roseburg police arrested a man on Sunday for an alleged threatening incident.

An RPD report said officers contacted the 37-year-old shortly after 10 a.m. after he allegedly threatened a victim with a hammer in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. The man’s belongings were blocking the sidewalk and the victim asked him to move aside so she could get past him in her wheelchair.

The man allegedly grabbed a hammer, raised it above his head and threatened to kill her. He was arrested without issue and taken to jail. The man was charged with menacing. Bail was set at $6,250.
