Man found dead under off-road vehicle in Knox County

KNOX COUNTY, Kentucky (LEX 18) – A man was found dead underneath an ATV in Knox County Saturday morning, according to the Knox County Sheriff’s Department.

A news release from the agency said they received a call that a man had been found dead after being trapped under an all-terrain vehicle. The man’s relatives said they last spoke with him around 2 p.m. Friday, when he said he was going to get wood. His family said that was the last time they heard from him, so they began searching.

The man was later found on Rufus Mills Ridge, near KY South 11, in the Barbourville area, the release said.
