St. Johnsville man arrested on warrant

ST. JOHNSVILLE, NY (NEWS10) — The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) reported the arrest of a St. Johnsville man on a warrant. Robert Myers Jr., 47, was charged with attempted first-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.

Officials say Myers was taken into custody Monday after pleading guilty to the charge and failing to turn himself in to District Court on Saturday. After he failed to turn himself in, a felony warrant was issued for his arrest.

The sheriff’s office found Myers to be at the home and said members of the MCSO, state police and the St. Johnsville Police Department were there investigating. Myers eventually turned himself in and was taken to the Montgomery County Jail to await arraignment, according to the MCSO.
