Nudist duo saves tourist from attack in San Francisco

Proving that not all heroes need lots of clothes, let alone a cape, two nudists in San Francisco last week helped rescue a tourist who was being threatened by a man with a blowtorch.

The two men, Pete Sferra of San Jose and Lloyd Fishback of San Francisco, were walking naked through the Castro neighborhood on July 2 when they encountered a man they described to the San Francisco Standard as a “crazy pirate type” threatening another man with a blowtorch.

An eyewitness video shows the attacker threatening a tourist on a busy sidewalk before another passerby snatches the blowtorch from his hand. The attacker then begins to punch the tourist repeatedly before being tackled to the ground by Fishback in a bare-clothed scuffle.
