Investigation shows horses suspiciously killed in Wisconsin died from intentional blunt force trauma

CAREY, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin have released an update on Months of investigation into the suspicious death of two horses on a property.

According to a press release from the Iron County Sheriff’s Office, an investigation into the dead horses revealed that their deaths were caused by intentional blunt force trauma.


The incident occurred on April 26 on a property off County Highway C in the southern part of Carey.
