Monroe Police Department phone lines restored, police say

MONROE, La. (KNOE) – TO UPDATE: According to Monroe Police, their phone lines are now functioning properly.

MONROE, Louisiana (KNOE) – Monroe Police Department phone lines are down again due to damage caused by Hurricane Beryl, according to PIO Matt Schmitz.

The outage occurred shortly after the lines were restored to service following a previous outage.

MPD says in case of emergency, call 911.
