Fourth of July shooting under investigation – The Vacaville Reporter

Fairfield Police are currently investigating a shooting that occurred on the afternoon of July 4.

Fairfield Police Department spokeswoman Jennifer Brantley said police received a report of the shooting, which occurred shortly after 3 p.m. on July 4 at an apartment complex near Business Center Drive.

When officers arrived, Brantley said the victim’s family had already taken him to a local hospital for further treatment, including surgery last week.

The investigation is ongoing and officials have not yet released a motive or information about a possible suspect, according to Brantley.
