2 West Haven students arrested after fight

WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Two West Haven High School students were arrested Thursday after they got into an argument, with one prompting a police officer to fight him too.

While school officials tried to break up the fight, one student ran outside and tried to attack the other, police said. That student was taken into custody, but during his arrest, the second student “assumed a fighting stance” and challenged an officer to fight him.

Several additional patrol units were subsequently sent to the high school. The student fled and was then taken into custody.
