At Friday, 5th July 2024 at 5:45 am, 19 years old Spencer Meyer-Steiger from Bloomington, was driving his Dodge Ram truck north on Gasner Hollow Road in Wyalusing Township when he drove too fast on the gravel for a left turn. Meyer-Steiger failed He was unable to control his vehicle while negotiating the curve. Meyer-Steiger drove into the east ditch, down a steep embankment, struck some large rocks and overturned the truck. The truck came to rest on its driver’s side. Meyer-Steiger was wearing a seatbelt and suffered a minor hand injury. Meyer-Steiger was cited for speeding. B&M Towing of Bloomington removed the truck from the scene, which was a total loss.
