ACCIDENT WITH PROPERTY DAMAGE SATURDAY AFTERNOON IN CISNE

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two-vehicle property damage crash at the corner of Simpson and Perine St. in Cisne just after 12:30 Saturday afternoon. Officers said a 2022 Ram 1500 truck driven by 72-year-old Walter Tibbs of Fairfield was traveling eastbound on Perine St. when it slowed at a yield intersection and continued through the intersection when a 2002 Chevrolet 1500 truck driven by 18-year-old Spencer Brach, traveling northbound, was struck by the Tibbs vehicle. Tibbs told officers he did not see the Brach vehicle at the intersection. No injuries were reported.
