Police tweeted that they were at the scene of a stabbing in the area and urged motorists to avoid the area.

Approximately 30 emergency vehicles, including Windsor police, ambulances and firefighters, were in response on Ouellette Avenue as officers entered and exited the Ouellette Manor building at 920 Ouellette Ave.

The City of Windsor Joint Task Force was parked nearby, as was an idling Transit Windsor bus. A portable shower unit was also visible.
