PAULDING COUNTY, OH (WLIO) – A Mississippi man accused of a road rage incident was arrested by multiple law enforcement agencies near the Ohio-Indiana border. The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office says its officers arrived at the scene on U.S. 24 east of the state line to assist Indiana police, who stopped and arrested 37-year-old Jeremiah Nix of Greenville, Mississippi. Missouri authorities had been pursuing the commercial vehicle driven by Nix. They sent a warrant to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office to arrest Nix on charges of unlawful use of a weapon, shooting at a person from a motor vehicle and one count of assault. Nix is ​​currently in the Paulding County Jail in Missouri on those charges. He will face an extradition hearing at some point in the future.
