MultiChoice gives up, changes in subscription prices for Dstv and GOtv are the result

  • MultiChoice has reflected the reorientation in its company’s apps

Following a court order requiring the company to stop price increases, MultiChoice has adjusted its subscription prices for DStv and GOtv users in Nigeria.

The company had announced that it would challenge the ruling of the Competition and Consumer Protection Court in Abuja after it reported a decline in its subscriber base in Nigeria, which had resulted in the loss of over one million subscribers.

Due to the adjustments, DStv subscribers will now pay N29,500 for the Premium package instead of N37,000, while subscribers of the Compact+ package can now pay N19,800 instead of the new price of N25,000.
