Twelve registered sex offenders were arrested as part of a multi-jurisdictional law enforcement compliance review from June 3-7, 2024. According to a Metro Police press release, 12 sex offenders were arrested in a multi-jurisdictional raid last week.

The operation, which took place from June 3 to 7, included in-person visits by officers to ensure that sex offenders throughout Clark County were complying with their registration requirements. During the raid, 1,840 sex offenders were contacted.

Arrested were: David Duenas, 43; David Perry, 45; John Simmons, 51; Jeremiah Gard, 39; Ryan Hamm, 60; Brian Monegan, 62; Casey Saunders, 26; Scott Billings, 49; Giezi Burrion-Diaz, 29; Lawrence Sayles, 65; Nathaniel Whaley, 51; and Anthony Buncie, 62.

Participating agencies included Metro Police, Nevada Violent Offender Task Force of the U.S. Marshals Service, Nevada State Police, North Las Vegas Police Department, Henderson Police Department, Boulder City Police Department, Clark County School District Police Department and the Las Vegas City Marshals.
