Charge rapists under POSCO Act: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth

Taking serious note of the inhuman incident of rape and murder of a six-year-old girl in Peddapalli district, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directed the police to immediately file a case against the accused under the POCSO Act. The Chief Minister assured that the government would ensure justice to the victim’s family.

The Chief Minister also took serious note of the brutal incident in which a man named Guvvala Sanjeev was beaten to death in broad daylight in Utkur mandal of Narayanpet district. He warned that strict action would be taken against the forces involved in such physical attacks and murder cases. Mr. Revanth Reddy also ordered the police officials to take action against the policemen concerned if they did not take stern action and neglected the incident.
