Matt Riddle is involved in a car accident and will miss several performances

Matt Riddle had to cancel several bookings after his Uber was involved in an accident.

On June 14, Matt Riddle was scheduled to face Brad Hollister at Northeast Wrestling’s Over the Top event in Woodbridge, Connecticut. On June 15, he was scheduled to face Zak Patterson at North Shore Pro Wrestling’s Golden Opportunity show in Quebec City. Unfortunately, neither of those matches will take place.

Riddle took to social media to tell his fans that his Uber was involved in an accident and he went to the hospital for a medical evaluation. He wrote:

I just wanted to let everyone know that I won’t be on the show tonight or tomorrow. Unfortunately my Uber had an accident on the way to the airport and I had to go to the hospital and get checked out. I have a concussion, bumps and bruises but I’m going to be OK #seatbelt

When was Matt Riddle’s last WWE match?

Matt Riddle’s last WWE match took place on September 4th on Monday Night Raw. On that occasion, he teamed up with Drew McIntyre to face the Viking Raiders, but lost.

Later that week, Riddle was involved in an incident at JFK airport after returning home from Superstar Spectacle in India. On September 9, Riddle was confronted by police officers for disorderly conduct but was eventually released without charges.

Following the incident, Riddle posted a now-deleted social media post accusing one of the officers involved of sexual assault, prompting the Port Authority to launch an investigation into the incident and state that it takes such allegations very seriously.

Riddle was absent from both the September 11 and 18 episodes of Raw, with his absence on the 11th reportedly being due to illness. On September 22, he announced that he was released from the company.

The star reportedly had too many mishaps with the company before his incident at JFK airport, including a second health policy violation reportedly in December.

Matt Riddle’s partner Misha Montana gave birth to the couple’s first child in December.
