Nina Dobrev reveals injuries after dirt bike accident

Nina Dobrev has just revealed the gruesome details of all the injuries she sustained in her first television appearance since her horrific accident last month.

“It was my first time riding a dirt bike and it didn’t go well. I can’t recommend it, guys,” said the Vampire Diaries Alum said in the above video of Wednesday’s edition of The conversation“It’s OK, I learned my lesson: never get on a dirt bike again.”

Dobrev said: “I did a wheelie, lost control, the whiskey throttled, the bike went flying. Luckily it didn’t fall on me, which the doctor said would have been much worse. But when I landed, I landed on one leg, straight, and my knee was like broken.”

The result was painful.

“I had knee surgery and a huge brace. I can’t really walk on my own yet… I had a broken knee and ACL and meniscus surgery,” Dobrev said.

She said attending the show was the first time she had left her house in two months.

“Cuddle Time is my life these days,” she said. “It’s just the puppies, and at home it’s watching movies, physical therapy, eating, sleeping or peeing.”

Her latest addiction is Fargothe anthology crime dramedy that debuted in 2015. The fifth season, starring Juno Temple, Lamorne Morris and Jon Hamm, ended in January.

“I called my agents. I love it, I’m so obsessed with the show. I thought you guys have to get me on this show,” Dobrev said. “And they said this is from ten years ago, you’re too late.”

In fact, another season of the FX series is not out of the question, although it is unclear when Dobrev will be healthy enough to return to work. Her film reuniona thriller about former high school classmates who solve a murder, starring Jillian Bell, Jamie Chung, Chace Crawford, Lil Rel Howery and Billy Magnussen, will be available digitally on June 28.
