1 dead, 1 in critical condition after shooting on Saturday in Denver

DENVER (KDVR) — A man is dead and a woman is in critical but stable condition following a shooting Saturday night in South Denver, according to the Denver Police Department.

The shooting was reported around 6:49 p.m. near 5th Avenue and North Sheridan Boulevard. Both victims were taken to a hospital.

Further information on the reason for the shooting, who may have shot the two and what relationship the victims have to each other or to the shooter were not available as of Saturday, 8 p.m.
