Crawford police arrest man after Thursday morning shooting

Crawford police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting Thursday morning.

Anthony Parrish, 53, of Middletown, was charged with assault and illegal possession of a firearm, police said, for shooting a 37-year-old man in the area of ​​State Route 17K and Teplitz Court.

The victim, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds, is in critical condition at Garnet Health Medical Center.

Parrish is being held without bail in the Orange County Jail.
