Major international arrest takes place in Buffalo, New York

As summer approaches and the weather warms up, police and other law enforcement officials are very busy here in Western New York.

As we receive reports this week that President Biden is considering closing the southern border in the event of increased migration activity, here in Buffalo there is ongoing concern about crossing the border between the United States and Canada.

It became known this week that U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested a person attempting to illegally access and enter the United States near Buffalo, New York.

In a press release sent to us this week, it was noted that: “On May 25, U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Buffalo Station spotted a woman crossing the International Rail Bridge in the City of Buffalo and entering a waiting vehicle. However, Border Patrol agents and U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers prevented their departure from the area and arrested both subjects.

According to the press release, “it was determined that the woman was from China and was charged with illegal entry into the United States.”

As for the southern border, big news is coming this week from Washington.
