Pride celebrated in Buffalo with annual parade and festival

Western New Yorkers came together to celebrate the start of Pride Month this weekend.

Sunday marked the annual Buffalo Pride parade.

It started at Elmwood and Forest Avenues and ended at Elmwood and Allen Street.

After the parade, people had the chance to head to Canalside for the Pride Festival.

It featured performances from the LGTBQ+ community in Western New York. Some of them include Monét X Change and Jason Kendig.

There were also local vendors as well as food and drinks.
