Large police presence in downtown Lansing

LANSING, Michigan (WLNS) – There is a heavy police presence in downtown Lansing.

The operation began around 8:30 p.m. Police vehicles with flashing blue lights are stationed throughout the downtown area near the Lansing Community College campus, west toward Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.


At the corner of Shiawassee St. and Walnut St., a vehicle crashed into a house that appears to be the focus of the police operation.
