Missing Salisbury woman found dead, murder investigation underway

SALISBURY, Maryland — Police say a homicide investigation is underway after a missing Salisbury woman was found dead.

On Sunday, officers responded to a residence in the 1000 block of Adams Avenue where they found a woman named Patoria Giddens dead. Giddens was reported missing to Salisbury police in early May.

An autopsy was performed and Giddens’ death was tentatively ruled a homicide.
