Young girl and man injured in motorcycle accident in Utah County

AMERICAN FORK — A man and a 10-year-old girl were injured Tuesday in a crash involving their motorcycle and a car in the area of ​​5700 W. 6800 North in Utah County.

Preliminary police information indicates that a car ran a red light shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday and struck the motorcycle pair, according to Spencer Cannon of the Utah County Sheriff’s Office.

Cannon also stated that the child was unconscious, bleeding from the head and was airlifted to a hospital.
