Royal Knights Eagles Club visits and helps Oro abuse victims

The Royal Knights Eagles Club led by Bagwis Dos of the Northern Mindanao Region-12 (NMR-12) of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Philippine Eagles Inc. will conduct a community service event aimed at supporting persons who have been sexually abused.

The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 1, 2024, starting at 8:00 a.m. in Balulang, Cagayan de Oro City.

Realising the importance of helping others and showing compassion, the Royal Knights Eagles Club is organising this initiative to help victims of sexual abuse overcome their emotional distress and reintegrate into society.

Royal Knights Eagles Club President Eagle Bong Bragat and NMR-12 Bagwis Dos Governor Eagle Eric Daabay of the Philippine Eagles call on all members to participate and show their support for this important cause.

The non-profit event aims to provide a safe and supportive environment for victims of sexual abuse, said Eagle Eric Daabay, governor of NMR-12 Bagwis Dos, adding that people should come forward, seek help and begin the healing process.

“By coming together as a community, the Royal Knights Eagles Club hopes to create a sense of belonging and solidarity among those who may be struggling with the effects of such traumatic experiences,” Daabay said.

Eagle Bong Bragat stressed the importance of extending a helping hand to those in need, explaining that one of the purposes of human life is to serve and show compassion for others.

He said that by participating in activities that promote healing and support, the Royal Knights Eagles Club aims to positively impact the lives of victims of sexual abuse and give them the strength to overcome their problems.

Royal Knights Eagles Club members are encouraged to actively participate in the community service event and contribute to supporting individuals who have been sexually abused.

By showing their solidarity and providing assistance to those in need, club members demonstrate their commitment to improving the lives of others and fostering a more compassionate and caring community.
