Coroner called after rafting incident in Carbon County

CARBON COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Lehighton Coroner was called to the scene of a rafting accident.

According to the Carbon County Communications Center, the incident occurred around 1:20 p.m. on the Leigh River near Leighton.

Officials confirmed that a coroner and dive teams from multiple agencies were called to the scene.
