West Seattle Blog… | UPDATE: Two accidents, one involving a Metro bus, one involving a stolen car

13:17: Thanks for the tip and photo on the first of two accidents police are currently dealing with not far apart. The accident in the photo reportedly involved a car and a bus with Delridge blocked off near Kenyon. Police are also called to the 2600 block of SW Thistle, near Chief Sealth IHS, where someone is driving a gray Kia Soul is said to have driven into two parked cars before exiting the Kia and fleeing.

13:22: Officers at the SW Thistle crime scene had just asked dispatch to check the Kia’s license plate; the dispatcher told them the number belonged to a Kia Rio that had been stolen somewhere in Seattle.

In the meantime, officers at the Delridge/Kenyon crime scene informed us that the investigation would be turned over to the Transit Police (which is part of the King County Sheriff’s Office) because it was a bus.
