CW39 Spotlight shines on Comicpalooza 2024 with special guests

As Houston prepares for Comicpalooza 2024, scheduled for May 24-26 at the George R. Brown Convention Center, CW39 Spotlight hosted by Brad Gilmore has assembled an exciting list of guests to discuss this year’s event.

First, Itasha Showdown’s Koriey Dixon talked about what fans can expect from the car show that combines Japanese anime and car culture, bringing a unique twist to Comicpalooza. Koriey shared a sneak peek at the designs and special features planned for this year’s showcase.

After Koriey, Fred from Derf Designs took the stage to discuss his latest initiatives in the field of geek culture merchandise. From custom T-shirts to intricate collectibles, Fred highlighted how his designs connect fans with their favorite elements of pop culture in new and innovative ways.

To round out the segment, Andrew Robinson, known for his role as “Dirty Harry” and his significant contributions to the Star Trek series, shared his experiences and the lasting impact of the franchise. Robinson also talked about what fans can expect from his convention panels.
