Police are investigating shootings at the emergency room at Argyle Forest Shopping Center

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting at an emergency room at an Argyle Forest shopping center.

A burgundy sedan was seen with what appeared to be a bullet hole in the back seat window.

Police said the car was parked outside the emergency room on Argyle Forest Boulevard several hours before the shooting and that the shooting happened during rush hour when the space was full of shoppers.

When News4JAX arrived on scene, the passenger door was open and the car was running.

The space is still open to shoppers.
