A Democratic group begins attacking Trump with statements about abortion rights

A Democratic super PAC will launch a three-week, $25 million advertising offensive Monday against presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump. Spots will be broadcast in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania in which, based on votes, the leaders of the group are warned about restricted access to abortions in Trump’s second term in office.

American Bridge 21st Century’s ads are aimed at a group of about 2 million persuadable voters, including conservatives dissatisfied with Trump and people who dislike both major party candidates, said Bradley Beychok, the group’s co-founder. The spots, which will air on television, radio, digital and mail through early June, are the first wave of a promised $140 million campaign to re-elect President Biden.
