According to police, one person was killed in a reckless car accident on Saturday evening

According to police, the accident occurred at the intersection of Appleton and Burleigh at approximately 11:54 p.m. on Saturday.

A black Ford driving recklessly on Appleton Ave. was driving, crashed into a red vehicle as the Ford turned west on Burleigh. According to police, the 50-year-old driver of the red vehicle died at the scene of the accident.

A third vehicle with two occupants also got stuck in the accident. Both people in the third vehicle are expected to survive.

The driver of the black Ford, a 24-year-old woman, was arrested. The charges remain to be reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
