Irvine police officers arrested two thieves after a victim tracked down his stolen e-bike – New Santa Ana

According to police, a smelly situation led to the arrest of two thieves Irvine Police Department.

Last week, two unlocked electric motorcycles were stolen from the Ralphs Harvard and Main St.

One of the victims followed his bike to a gas station Main St and MacArthurwhere he found the two stolen electric motorcycles in the back of a car.

When the victim confronted the two suspects, they fled from their car. Officers arrived and immediately found a suspect hiding in nearby bushes.

While searching for the second suspect, the officers contacted a nearby taxi driver who, as it turned out, was waiting for an unknown passenger.

The second suspect was eventually found by an officer hiding in an Oscar the Grouch-style dumpster.

The two thieves Austin Lorin Brown30, from Orange, and William Jesus Ibarra34, of Riverside, was booked into the Orange County Jail on charges of grand larceny and possession of stolen property.
