“Domestic in progress” results in an existing arrest warrant: Orange Police Blotter

Disturbance, warrant served: Orange Place

Police responded to the Extended Stay South Hotel just before 9 a.m. May 6 for a report of domestic violence.

No charges were filed against either party, but one individual was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court on an unspecified prior charge.

No further information about the incident was available.

Telephone box fraud: Waterford Court

A local resident came to the police station on May 7 to report suspected fraudulent activity that occurred sometime between 2:00 p.m. on May 5 and approximately 1:30 p.m. that day.

Police took a report that was not immediately available.
