Clarksburg teen arrested for alleged sexual assault of four women near Harris Teeter

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Maryland – Authorities believe they have caught the teenager who allegedly sexually assaulted four women in Clarksburg this week.

The alleged groping and inappropriate touching began Monday near Snowden Farm Parkway and Little Seneca Parkway, according to Montgomery County police.

Each of the victims, 18-year-old Ibn Muhammad Rosario, was walking or jogging in the area behind the Harris Teeter.

After police received several reports from women saying Rosario had grabbed them by the buttocks and, in some cases, made lewd comments, they sent plainclothes officers to patrol the neighborhood.

On Thursday morning, an officer spotted Rosario and observed him petting a woman who was picking up trash near the Harris Teeter. The police report says the worker fought back and hit Rosario with the trash picker pole she was using.

He fled to a nearby apartment complex, where officers found and arrested him.

Rosario, who the department said was released on bail and is awaiting trial, is charged with four counts of fourth-degree sex offenses and four counts of second-degree assault.
