Angelina Jolie visits her ‘stable’ son Pax, 20, in hospital after e-bike accident

Angelina Jolie’s 20-year-old son Pax is “stable” after being hospitalized following a horrific e-bike accident in Los Angeles.

A source familiar with the matter told Page Six that the 49-year-old “Maleficent” actress was at Pax’s side in the hospital during his recovery.

This latest update comes after TMZ reported that Pax was involved in an accident while riding an e-bike on Los Feliz Boulevard around 5 p.m. on Monday.

Law enforcement sources told the outlet that Pax was riding his electric bike at a busy intersection when the light turned red and crashed into a stationary vehicle.

The driver reportedly jumped out of the car to check on Pax before first responders were called.

Pax, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident, reportedly suffered a head injury and was experiencing pain in his hip. He was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Although paramedics feared Pax had suffered a minor brain hemorrhage, he appears to be improving and could be released from the hospital this evening.

Apparently, this is not Pax’s first accident with his e-bike.

A source also told us that he has had “several” accidents before and rarely wears a helmet.

“His friends are worried about him,” the insider told us. “He’s acting reckless. They’re worried.”

Page Six has reached out to Jolie’s representatives and the Los Angeles Police Department for comment.

Jolie has Pax and five other children with her ex-husband Brad Pitt – Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Pax’s health scare is the latest in a series of headline-grabbing dramas in the Jolie-Pitt family.

Earlier this month, Shiloh published a statement in the Los Angeles Times announcing that she was dropping her father’s name.

Page Six reported that she proposed on her 18th birthday, indicating that she no longer wanted anything to do with the “Fight Club” actor given her ongoing bitter divorce from her mother.

A source told People that Pitt was apparently “aware and upset” about his daughter’s actions.

Zahara and Vivienne have also publicly dropped their father’s surname in the wake of their family dispute.

Pitt, 60, and the “Tomb Raider” star were together since 2004 and married in 2014. However, they separated in 2016 and have been in an ugly custody battle ever since.

The “Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood” star initially reached a 50-50 custody agreement, which was kept under wraps in 2021 for privacy reasons but was lifted later that year.

The ex-partners were declared legally single in 2019, but their disputes over custody and their winery Chateau Miraval continue.
