College Station police investigate shooting that left 17-year-old dead

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – College Station police are investigating a shooting that left a 17-year-old dead.

According to a social media post, an officer found the teenager with gunshot wounds late Sunday night at the corner of University Oaks Blvd. and George Bush Dr.

According to police, the officer rendered aid until the fire department arrived and he was taken to the hospital, where he died.

Investigators reported receiving multiple 911 calls about gunshots in the area. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact College Station police at 979-764-3600.
