LAPD: ‘Hot Prowl’-style burglaries and alleged sexual assaults reported in East Hollywood and Silver Lake

LOS ANGELES – According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a series of burglaries as part of the so-called Hot Prowl program are currently being investigated, one of which allegedly involved a sexual assault.

The crimes occurred in the early hours of Saturday, July 27, in the East Hollywood and Silver Lake areas, police said.

Authorities did not provide any further information about the break-ins or the alleged sexual assault on the woman.
