DeKalb Police Investigate Two Shootings That Occurred 4 Minutes Apart – WSB-TV Channel 2

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. – DeKalb police are investigating two shootings that occurred early Sunday morning.

At 12:15 a.m., officers responded to the 3500 block of Memorial Drive, where they found a 30-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the leg.

She was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

According to police, she got into a verbal argument with someone before she was shot.

At 12:19 a.m., police were called to the 4300 block of Hugh Howell Road for another shooting.

When they arrived, they found a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg.

He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

According to police, the victim got into a physical altercation with someone and was subsequently shot.

Detectives went to the crime scene to investigate the crime.
