Goffstown police are investigating an alleged attempt at card skimming. They say two men entered Sully’s and appeared to be shopping. GOFFSTOWN, NH —

Goffstown police are investigating a suspected attempt at credit card fraud.

They say two men entered Sully’s and apparently went shopping.

When they got to the checkout, police said one of the men tried to distract the clerk while the other tried to install a keyboard skimmer.

According to police, he failed and put the skimmer device back in his pocket before leaving the store.

Investigators say they are not aware of any similar attempts in other nearby stores.
