Minor: Arrests made in recent gang rape cases | Ranchi News

Ranchi/Jamshedpur: Three persons were arrested and a minor detained in connection with the gang rape of a minor on Monday. Police on Thursday said the accused were arrested within 24 hours of receiving the complaint. The three have confessed to the crime. A delegation of the BJP had also met the police in Gonda and demanded protection for the rape survivor and her family members. 3 arrested for gang rape of 2 minors: Three youths, all in their 20s, were arrested for allegedly raping two minor girls in Seraikela-Kharswan on Wednesday. Though no complaint has been filed yet, the accused will be booked under the POCSO, police said.
