Man wanted for attempted sexual assault of woman on Waikiki beach | Crime & Courts

HONOLULU (Island News) – Honolulu police are searching for a suspect wanted for attempted first-degree sexual assault following an incident on a Waikiki beach.

On Sunday, July 7, at approximately 4:40 a.m., officers reported that a woman was swimming at Fort Derussy Beach with a man she had just met. After they finished swimming, the man attempted to sexually assault the woman using physical force, but she was able to fight back.

Honolulu Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who attempted to sexually assault a woman at Fort DeRussey Beach in Waikiki.



The man then fled in an unknown direction.

The suspect is reportedly between 20 and 30 years old, Caucasian, weighs 90 kg and is 1.93 m tall. He is also described as having black, curly hair, a light complexion and a muscular build.
