Man who repeatedly raped two women sentenced to eight years in prison

A man who repeatedly raped two women, including attacks in an Aberdeen flat, has been sentenced to eight years in prison.

Abraham Ramirez, 50, attacked his victims between March 2021 and October 2022. According to court documents, Ramirez abused his first wife in Aberdeen after lying on top of her.




Ramirez raped the same woman again in the apartment. He grabbed her by the body, turned her over and held her down. Then he pushed her down and raped her.

Ramirez held the woman down with his hand before raping her a third time in the apartment. The fourth time, he grabbed her body, pushed her onto a bed, pulled down her underwear and held her down with his hand.

Ramirez also raped a second woman at a property in Falkirk, attacking her after she withdrew her consent.

He later raped the same woman while she was sleeping. Ramirez was found guilty of six counts of rape and sentenced at the High Court in Glasgow.
