Some thunderstorms over the weekend, the weather will become wetter

First Alert meteorologist Corey Simma is monitoring a heat warning in effect for neighborhoods west of Jacksonville.

The perceived temperatures are between 43 and 43 degrees.

Storms have spread west of Jacksonville and along and west of Highway 301: This is where rain and storm activity will be concentrated for the rest of the day.

Tomorrow it will be hot again with some storms, again mainly west of Jacksonville.

On Monday – and really every day of the next week – there is a pretty good chance of thunderstorms every day. It will remain hot, but temperatures will be closer to average.
