Weather warning – heatwave from Friday. | Weather

Weather Warning… Temperatures of 100 degrees or more – Friday through next Wednesday (probably needs to be extended)

Clear and mild overnight, lows between 10 and 15 degrees. Sunny again tomorrow and very warm with highs between 27 and 32 degrees. Sunny and hot on the 4th.th July with maximum temperatures between 35 and 35 degrees

Heatwave…A massive ridge of high pressure is forming off the West Coast and will move inland over the next few days, creating a blocking ridge of high pressure over the Pacific Northwest. By Friday, a thermal low will have moved north from the desert southwest, pushing our temperatures above 100 degrees. We may even flirt with record highs this weekend – yuck! Models indicate the heat will last at least until next Friday, July 12th!! Due to the heat, dry conditions, and winds of 5-15 mph, fire danger will remain elevated for the next seven days.

Extreme heat warning… Friday afternoon to Tuesday night
