Bowling Green man airlifted to hospital after car crash in Pike County – KXEO

A Bowling Green man is recovering from serious injuries sustained in a car crash in Pike County on Thursday afternoon, June 27, 2024.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol accident report, the incident occurred on Route H, east of 25500 Route H.

The vehicle driven by 34-year-old Amos M. Pitzer veered off the right side of the road and crashed into a sewer.

After hitting the culvert, the vehicle was thrown into the air and began to roll over.

The vehicle ended up on its roof.

Pitzer was air evacuated to Mercy Hospital in Saint Louis.
