Woman shot in parking lot of McAllen supermarket

TMcAllen police have launched a homicide investigation after a woman was shot in a supermarket parking lot.

Lt. Joel Morales said the shooting occurred at 5:12 p.m. in the 2300 block of Maple Avenue.

A suspect has been arrested and charges are pending.

No further information was immediately released.
