The Warrick County Health Department decides to suspend its officer.

Marlin Weisheit, the department’s interim director, did not give a reason for Dr. Ricky Yeager’s suspension.

The health department operates under the medical license of Dr. Yeager.

As a result, neither birth nor death certificates can be issued nor vaccinations ordered or administered.

A public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, during which Dr. Yeager can discuss his suspension with the board.
